PRLog (Press Release)– Jul 21, 2011– WANAMASSA, NJ -- LADACIN Network, a non-profit agency that provides support and services for people with cerebral palsy or other physical disabilities, has utilized Direct Install from New Jersey's Clean Energy Program at six of its facilities to reduce energy costs and save money while minimizing damage to the environment.
Hutchinson Mechanical Services, the participating Direct Install contractor for Ocean, Monmouth, Burlington and Camden Counties, installed motion-sensored lighting, upgraded lighting to energy efficient bulbs, and upgraded LADACIN's HVAC system to include corsa new rooftop units and a boiler system.
LADACIN Network has received $150,000 in Direct Install incentives and the energy efficient upgrades have already reduced the agency's energy bills. LADACIN anticipates that it will recover its energy efficient investment in as little as three years in some facilities.
According to Patricia Carlesimo, executive director, LADACIN Network, "LADACIN is committed to g rc helicopter and car market place oing 'green' and saving energy. As a non-profit struggling with flat funding and funding cuts, we are also continuously seeking cost savings. Direct Install allowed us to make significant changes to our facilities and as a result we will see lasting savings going forward."
